A policeman in Shanghai has recently amazed his guests at his wedding by promoting anti-fraud app so as to "prevent relatives and friends from being deceived."

"Welcome all of you to my wedding. This is an anti-fraud poster. Pay attention to frauds and download the app if you want," said Li Cong, a policeman from the anti-fraud team of Shanghai Yangpu Public Security Bureau.

Li said that some friends and relatives had the experience of being fooled, so "I want to take advantage of the gathering to promote the app to protect people I know." In just one hour, almost all guests attending the wedding installed the app on their phones.

Named the "National Anti-fraud Center," the app is designed to remind users of suspected fraudulent activities in various forms, including phone calls and text messages.

The anti-fraud app has gone viral on Chinese social media platforms, winning wide recognition from netizens who have applauded its timely and accurate identification of fraud.
